This is not a drinking story. I just want to clarify that in case by the sign of the title, you assumed that we allow Molly to drink Tequila. Although some days, I think that we need some tequila dealing with our little girl.
In the Spring months, especially with all the rain that we have this past Spring, walking Molly is a chore beings that she feels so compelled to stop every 2-3 inches to dig up worms and eat them. What is it about this beautiful dog that she feels that she has to have such a disgusting habit?
Her breed of course has a history as a working dog running vermin and varmints out of the barns and stables, so I assume that this triggers some of this behavior. We see this a lot during walks, for example she has a knack of coming back to the house and checking every inch of the base of the house on the way back to the front door. I think we are safe from vermin.
How dare the worms hang out anyway waiting to be eaten! And seriously, if I fished more I could use this habit of hers to my advantage...hmmm.
